We’re looking for a seasoned Satellite Imagery Analyst with deep GEOINT expertise to support defence and security operations. You’ll transform complex datasets—including thermal, optical, SAR, and time-series imagery—into actionable intelligence for government and defence stakeholders.
This role blends traditional defence intelligence with advanced analytics, AI/ML development, and geospatial storytelling. You’ll be a key interface between our tech and mission-critical decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse multi-source imagery (satellite, aerial, UAV) and OSINT for defence/security missions
- Detect, identify, and track objects, activities, and changes of interest
- Perform spatial-temporal analysis to assess threats and uncover emerging patterns
- Fuse imagery with GIS layers, terrain models, and proprietary datasets for holistic assessments
- Build and refine AI/ML tools to enhance imagery exploitation workflows
- Deliver clear, concise reports, visualisations, and map-based products for defence stakeholders
- Collaborate with mission planners, intelligence officers, and technical teams
- Represent the company in engagements with MODs, government agencies, and defence partners
- Stay sharp on emerging sensors, platforms, and geospatial tec
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Masters in Remote Sensing, Geospatial Science, Intelligence Studies, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in defence/security imagery analysis
- Strong grasp of EO data (VNIR, MWIR, LWIR, SAR)
- Skilled in ArcGIS, QGIS, ENVI, ERDAS Imagine
- Python proficiency for imagery workflows
- Clear communicator with non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with TCPED workflows and defence-grade data formats (NGA, STANAGs)
- Familiarity with non-civil datasets and classified environments
- Eligible for security clearance
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Military or intelligence agency background
- Experience with MODs or sensitive site analysis
- Thermal imagery expertise
- AI/ML-based exploitation tools
- Previous work in defence-focused tech companies
